Elin M Newton - "Starbucks is not just coffee, it is an experience. I never have and never intend on going through a drive-thru at Starbucks. It's the whole experience of walking into "my" store, standing in line smelling the fresh brewed espresso, hearing the grinding of the beans, and "window shopping" for coool mugs, books, and CDs. When the Barista says "Good Morning, Elin. Are you having your regular?" it just makes me feel important. Not to mention all the people I meet in Starbucks that I have exchanged business cards with... My favorite experience was the cold, winter day I spilled a Latte all over my long, wool, coat and 3 or 4 gentlemen came to my rescue with napkins and even helped wipe it off the bottom of my coat. The Barista came out immediately with a fresh Latte and then a mop to clean up my mess. Instead of embarrassment, I felt honored. If it is something as small as going into a Starbucks daily for a pleasant experience that perhaps might be the only one I had that day, it is worth the $2.37 ( for my Grande Americano)."
