Darren Anthony - "I have had my iPhone 3GS for almost two months now and I absolutely love it. I used to have a Motorola Q, which had Windows Mobile, but it it was more of a bother to use than it was useful.

I purchased an iPod Touch prior to getting my iPhone, which was very nice, but I never could get used to carrying around the two devices with me all the time. Once the iPhone 3GS (32GB) was released, I decided that it was time to make the move. I replaced my less than adequate Q and my iPod with the all-in-one iPhone.

What is it about the iPhone that makes people fall in love? The iPhone is more than just a phone. Also, it just works. For me, it has totally changed part of my life. I am more efficient now and less stressed (not that I had much stress anyways) with my iPhone.

Here is a list of features and benifits I have experienced:
• Touch Screen - everything is done by simply touching or swiping fingers on the screen.
• All-in-one - the iPhone is an all-in-one device (phone, email, Internet, camera, GPS, iPod, games, etc.).
• Camera - the camera records images and video with farely decent quality. It will not be able to replace your standalone camera for high quality, but the best camera you own is the one that is with you.
• GPS - I can use the Maps app with the built-in GPS chip to get directions to almost anywhere. I also use the GPS chip with a GeoCaching app for outdoor adventures.
• Games - I have a game for whichever mood may strike. I have card games, racing games, word games, strategy games, etc.
• Safari - web browsing on the iPhone is a treat. Not only is it handy to have the Internet anywhere* you go, but it is just like it is on a computer (with the exception of Flash content). Zooming in and out, and scrolling, are all done effortlessly by touching the screen.
• Email - email is a straight forward concept that the iPhone has got figured out expertly.
• Twitter, Facebook, IM, etc. - all of your social networking services are accessable wherever you are.
• Apps - there is an app for almost anything. I have social networking (Facebook, Twitter, IM); an app that call tell me what song is playing by using the iphone's microphone (Midomi); one that helps me find my car in a parking lot if I cannot remember where I parked (Take me to my car); I have an app that gives me reviews of nearby restaurants (Yelp, Urbanspoon); an app that converts units (units); I have one for Internet radio (last.fm).... and the list goes on....

If you are looking for a new smartphone, seriously consider the iPhone before making your decision. I have not regretted mine.      :o)"

Paul Jacobson - "The iPhone 3Gs is the best iPhone Apple has produced. It addresses many of the limitations of the previous model including a better camera with autofocus, MMS capability (introduced in iPhone 3.0 OS) and video capability. It has the excellent iPhone operating system and access to the tremendous range of iPhone applications which makes this device a tremendously flexible and versatile device." (link to entry)
