The 55LH90 is definitely one of the better sets available today. It has LED backlighting with local dimming and an LCD screen. Colors are natural and accurate, blacks/grays are deep and well detailed and contrast is excellent. For those people that want a TV for a well lit room, the matte screen does a good job of diffusing light sources and reflections. If you are buying a TV today, I definitely recommend looking at this set."
