Great series, though I read it very recently I can't remember what part of the story goes with what book! I love it all!

beanfair - This book scared me when I was a kid, but it scared me in the best possible way. I think it is OK to be scared sometimes so kids can figure out how to deal with that fear. This book helps teach coping skills as well as providing a fantasy adventure.

This is a really interesting and inspiring story. It took me a long time to read it, because I thought it was probably a long book. It reads almost like fiction and can be read in a couple of hours. I originally loved Gone with the Wind because of the love story. Now I also love it for its historical value. Its a detailed story of the courage of a group of people living in Atlanta during civil war and how they adjusted to their new world. The strength, diversity, and believability of the characters makes this novel particularly memorable. Oct 24Hmmm... I liked it, but not nearly as well as the Lord of the Rings books.
