    This is one of the best sewing and crafting books I've seen for taking just an ordinary sweatshirt and converting it to a fashionable jacket. There is even a swing jacket style. Whether you just want to embellish or totally make it over, there are not only simple step by step instructions, there are a whole packet of tissue pattern pieces to use included in the back of the book.     I had never heard of Evanescence before and while I was visiting my son he said, "here's a group that you are really going to like, mom" and he was right.     This is another one of those great family games because it is easy to learn, the game goes quickly and it is fun for everyone. I agree with care4pets because it is a great learning tool for math. It's always a good idea to make learning fun. Dec 1

    I loved Empire Strikes back and in comes in a close second to the original Star Wars (Episode IV) I sat on the edge of my seat for the entire movie. Special effects were awesome. Oct 31

    This is the one video game that I can actually play and be fairly good at it. We still have the original game, but my grandson has the Wii City Folk. He's almost as good at fishing as I am. Really like this family friendly game. Jan 21

    A great parody of a film after seeing all those Airport disaster movies. The cast was terrific, but the writing was the star. When the maintenance crew fellow presented the credit card imprinter at the cockpit window I thought I would crack up! Feb 19

    I still enjoy watching the reruns of the original shows. What a fun game show. No Whammy's No Whammy's! The actual questions were pretty easy but the Press Your Luck part of the game was always fun. One too many spins and you could be out. Oct 31

    My stepdaughter introduced me to the art of geocaching. She has hidden and found the caches all over and when visiting from Hawaii, she was searching at the park and our veterans memorial.     When you use the Shabby Chic style of decorating, you can mix pieces you love, including finds at the local flea market or garage sale. If you "whitewash" the furniture and add some unifying hardware, you can put a charming room together without much cost. Nov 1

    When I was the Home Dec supervisor at a local fabric store, we sold so much of this fabric. It tells a story right on the fabric and makes wonderful pillows and accent pieces in your room. It seems to make a bedroom charming and cozy too. It comes in several colors, but I'm always drawn to the color red. Oct 31
