This is my favorite band back in the 80's. I just love the voice of Sting, the lead artist. Sting has a very unique voice and to this day I have never heard of any artist who sound similar to Sting's voice. Who doesn't know "Every Breath You Take"? Definitely a very good classic slow rock.

I love the voice of Sting and his songs are so politically, though some are just fun. I love the "moon over bourbon street" for Halloween. His creations (some with police): Roxanne, Every Breath You Take, Desert Rose, Fields of Gold, etc. He's great.
from katrina seshan - Meaningful lyrics. Lovable melody. Sting rocks.
One of the greatest albums of all time, one of the few full albums that's always on my iPhone.
from jdantzlerw kitchenhacker - An amazing album. Still, in my mind, U2's best.
The little purple guy knew how to belt out a powerful tune in his day.
from johnmc - liked from robertbarnes's entry lickk_my_tweets - prince is the shit
keisha_danelle - Spike did well. I love that it was like a musical.
bodyguard_beats - Who DIDN'T do "DA BUTT"? A classic from Spike!
"From his humble Super 8 beginnings that smashed him upon TV screeens nationwide on "Saturday Night Live," to the unique spot he now occupies in the nation's consciousness, Mr. Bill has, in 25 short years, become a legend. Like other great ...
from higgsboson hawksdomain - They should bring Mr Bill back! :)
miloux - It can be obnoxious when baby boomers get together and start talking like Mr. Bill.
I agree lol I can't hear the opening bars of this song without picturing Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray dancing their all. It's a real foot tapper - one of those songs that makes you wish you could dance the way they did :)

Yeah, this was so great! I wish I still had my t-shirt:)

Another great song that makes me instantly think of Top Gun. I was just a kid in the 80's, but my sister was a teenager and everything 80's makes me think of her! There are a lot of great songs on the Top Gun Soundtrack!
from katrina pixeljedi - Ya! Classic song. So wish I could have this be a part of the soundtrack for my real life . . . heck, wish I could live my life with a soundtrack.
lizzy_aka_bubbles - not ONLY do i "like" this song, but i LOVE it! it's an AMAZING song sung by a GREAT musician!
digitalis - I wish this song would have played at the ERAU flight line as I walked out to my plane in the mornings.
Everyone watch Annie again! The story is wonderful and the music. I like it better on stage, though.
from katrina jdubsie - It was on this morning! I have to admit to singing aloud to 'tomorrow' :)
evelynsaenz - The performance by the Miami Children's Theater was spectacular yesterday.
A very romantic song originally written by British singer, Phil Collins, though there are several artists that made a version of it including Westlife & Mariah Carey.
from katrina treesandshrubs - This is one of the only songs I learned to play on the piano.
Once again AR Rahman has come up with an extradinory music score to "nana" sound track in his first hollywood movie "Couples Retreat".

Heavy Metal is awesome. I wish Heavy Metal lead us to the main stream music like before. In my opinion it is the most enjoyable music genre and its a kind of magic.

This is a fantastic song by "Chicago". One of the most romantic songs of the '80's; its from their album Chicago 16.
from katrina treesandshrubs - I love this song too. The bridge and change at the end seems like it doesn't belong, though.
"Take My Breath Away" is one of the best theme songs ever! Whenever I hear it, I instantly think of Top Gun. It won the Academy Award for Best Original Song as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 1987.

I personally don't like Snausages, but I believe dogs like them quite a bit. I do remember the commercials from the 1980s, for a while in my youth I thought it would be hilarious to walk around saying "Snausages" over and over.
