If you haven't every stayed at a W. You should check out one. The one in San Francisco has great decor. I also like the lobby quite a bit. Again the rates are pretty reasonable
from bindu rsingh - I've stayed at the one near Fremont and the one in Chicago. More modern and only a little pricier than the more traditional Westins.

amitp - It's been a few years since I've seen a W room but it was rather busy and trendy, whereas Westin's room was simple and clean.

awesome spa - especially liked the different mineral baths. location is perfect for nearby snorkeling, shopping, golf and restaurants. the restaurant also has one of the best buffets ever - fresh seafood, omelette stations, champagne, desserts - and the view of the ocean is incredible from cteng1121 sid - Ahh..the home of the Maui Film Festival. Many a times I have watched a foreign film here without understanding crap and then gone on to rave about it to show how cool I am.
The hotel in San Juan has spacious sunny rooms. The bathrooms are really big as well. The beach in front of the hotel is the famous Isla Verde beach. The cocktails are fabulous from remybass They said there is a ghost in this hotel but I've stayed here twice and never felt any sign of ghosts. This is the oldest hotel I've ever stayed in (since 1888) and it's a resort hotel. Its beach is such an awesome sight but the neatest thing I noticed on our last stay was the room we stayed in. It has a window dividing the bathroom and the bedroom. I thought it was funny closing and opening the window when needed but my daughters said it was cool. from gigi22 Unbelievably large and dominates the skyline. salaam liked this entryPunta Cana was beautiful. They have a great all inclusive deal. The resort is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly want. If you're looking to vacation with your honey or get married someplace far away- go here!! We have been here a few times. They have a wonderful spa. Great place to relax for a few days and hang out at the nearby vineywards and go to napa valley restaurants. from bindu They have 2 very nice bars on the ground floor - the decor and the drinks are great. The rooftop bar is the ideal place to chill out - the garden is beautiful and the drinks are fantastic. Will be making this my home for a week some time this winter. Looking forward to it... from dawriter this was HQ for a girlfriend's bachelorette party. Convenient that the Americano bar is just downstairs. The room was a good size, clean, with contemporary furnishings. And the toiletries are all Fresh brand. nice! from cteng1121 it's old as can be but still gorgeous.
