Great winter pasttime! Sledding defined my childhood winters! Oh, it also gave me a good share of broken bones (but most things I did as a kid broke bones) from pixeljedi

katrina - Sledding is so much fun, but I hardly ever do it now!
onthego - We had fun sledding growing up too. Luckily, no broken bones, but close calls to getting hit by cars or going over the edge of a hill.
cispark - I don't think you can grow up in Nebraska and not like sledding.
chrissy - A definite like from my childhood. We had every kind of sled. Radio flyer, disc, toboggan and even used giant Hefty bags. Fun times.

Pueblo Grande Museum is an archaeological site museum and repository. Our children loved hands-on activities. There were blocks shaped like adobe walls along with blue water blocks for making a Hohokam Village. We also got to walk around the actual dig site while talking with one of the Archaeologists. from evelynsaenz

Along with eating right, this is the way to go. Granted I may like it more than I make it an actuality. But it's the thought that counts right? I love food too much that this is pretty much my only option for a diet plan. Usually in a contest between a twinkie and jogging, the twinkie usually wins. cbellevie - Three cheers for physical exercise. When I'm not glued to the computer I like to get out and hike. Fresh air and hard work. Aside from the reward of great summit views and some distance from civilization for a bit, after, you just plain feel good, physically and mentally.
breakawayradio - Doing some sort of physical excerise is the best way to loose weight. I find the easiest and cheapest way is to either go for a walk or put a cd on and dance to the music. As long as you keep your body moving your find the time fly by.

The Children's Museum in San Jose, Costa Rica is a wonderful spot to explore with children. All the exhibits are hands-on and invite children to discover the past, present and future of Costa Rica. We especially loved the Earthquake Simulator where you stand on a platform that shakes, tips and vibrates in order to experience the sensation of a major earthquake. from evelynsaenz
