    Serenity picks up seamlessly where the short-lived TV series "Firefly" left off. Whedon does such an amazing job that you don't need to watch the TV show to completely understand character history or dynamics. Finally, we get to see what sort of ass-kicking River Tam (Summer Glau) has up her sleeve!     Spirited Away is yet another masterpiece from Hayao Miyazaki. The story tells the tale of Chihiro as she is separated from her family and must wander through the bathhouse of the gods.
