An amazing artist and scientist, so far ahead of his time. He had made sketches of helicopters even (I'm sure that I saw that on a documentary about him once). A really fascinating character who simply didn't fit into the society and times that he was born in. from debsw

The artwork of Picasso has always inspired me, both in the use of colour and in the composition. Part of the charm of Picasso's paintings is that the composition inspires both interest and conversely a sense of dislike, that there is something wrong but you're pulled in nonetheless. And that is why Picasso's artwork draws me. from charameredith

quesea - Adams was a pianist who used music theory to develop the Zone System, a measured, rational approach to working with light throughout the entire photographic process. Simply marvelous!
webslinger - The Master! Enough Said!
debsw - It's strange how there is just something about good black and white photography that somehow captures the essence of an image better than a colour frame can ever do..

treesandshrubs - It's my favorite Van Gogh. Love the colors swirling. I had a friend once interpret it in balloons.
care4pets - My favorite Van Gogh painting...it's what it would be like if you laid out in the middle of a country field on a cool, clear night staring at the stars...magnificent!
rahsheen - I like this painting because it looks happy on the surface, but I see a struggle between darkness and light.
