Kids eat free after 4pm (where participating restaurants)! Their omelettes are delicious and pancakes are perfect, ask for "HOT" syrup.

What ya'll know about candle light dinners at the waffle house at 3am:) "scattered" (spread on the grill), "smothered" (with onions), "covered" (with cheese), "chunked" (with diced ham, I dont recommend this one), "diced" (with diced tomatoes), "peppered" (with jalapeño peppers), "capped" (with mushrooms), "topped" (with chili):) from meccadonna meccadonna - RIght bree! I wish I could own one:)

Not really a restaurant, but a place on the 'must do' list for New Orleans, Superb coffee, and heaps of food. fantastic atmosphere in the indoor/outdoor setting close to the Mississippi River. If you like saxaphone music, you will hear it here. from tioga kadepp - Beignets and cafe au lait!
kitchenhacker - I actually don't like chicory coffee, but the beignets are awesome. Don't go there wearing black.
I am dreaming of hot chocolate. This place has really good stuff. I only have to drive 40 miles to get a cup :(... BTW the spicy mayan hot chocolate is pretty good from bindu rycaut - the photo is for the location in downtown Palo Alto. I didn't know about their other location - but indeed great cafe in Palo Alto

angie - Wow! I had no idea there was one at Stanford! I love the downtown PA one when it's not insanely crowded. I'll have to check the Stanford one out! Then I hope someday to visit the one in Caracas!
Love the cocktails. Tend to hang out there on Sunday nights. Didn't know the desserts were good. Will try them out next time we are there from bindu - liked from rose's entry
