    Nanopunk with teeth. If you want some confronting futuristic fiction that provides catharsis and _doesn't_ actually leave you feeling absolutely depressed, this is the novel. Even the supporting characters have been fleshed out in a highly satisfying series of mini-tales of their own, wrapped in the over-arching story.
