We bought this camera so we could finally capture good action shots of our daughter. We're still learning most of its features, but to Nikon's credit, it's still easy for the point-and-shoot crowd. The standard lens is good, but we are in real need of a close-up zoom lens.

dame liked this entryI upgraded from Digital Rebel which I used for four years. I couldn't be more impressed with this camera. AF is much faster than the Rebel. It feels more robust. This is a great camera. I always bring it for sight seeing at water falls and other places. It has good quality photos and they all come out great.
