When we moved into our home we replaced all the light bulbs with these. Energy savers and easy to implement the change. Every little bit helps. It's been 3 years and they're still going strong.
from chrissy rickw - This kind of thing always inspires me. It's great that you are doing your bit to contribute

Melaleuca is a great brand of eco friendly hom and health products. All of their products are natural and healthy! My favorite product from them is probably the laundry detergent. Whenever I use store bought detergent, I get all rashy, but Melaleuca's has never done that to me! Plus, you hardly need any to finish a load, wish saves you money!

Use bamboo products instead of wood products. Bamboo can grow very fast and has a long life. Cutting bamboo also dosn't affect environment cause it's a fast growing plant. They dont harm your health and dont harm the environment either. This website gives a lot of bamboo made consumer products...

For all the achy parts, this works best. I don't use a heating pad anymore. This is inexpensive, saves electric and works like a charm. They even have wee little ones, for kids.

This is an excellent non-toxic cleaner. We use it mostly for outdoor cleaning, ie: car, tractor, furniture. It is surprisingly strong and removes grease and tar in a jiffy. Also great for removing pretty pictures drawn in pen, from dining room walls.

These pitchers are great for keeping filtered water cold and ready. I use it to fill the dogs water bowl. He likes me for it:) And frees up the landfills from plastic containers that weren't recycled.
from chrissy djsteen - I love the convenience of the filter in the water jug. I love chilled water, so having this ready to go in the fridge is awesome!
Easy to make, inexpensive to purchase, these are an excellent alternative to paper. I have stacks of these, some are new and some were my Grandma's.
from chrissy earthfinds - hmmm, I have some on E this week, maybe I should reconsider...
I just keep them in my car. It's such a simple way to recycle. Almost every store offers their own brand, if you don't already have them. I've got one for Macy's and oodles for the grocery store.

I have to admit that I have the Jimi Wallet in three colors. They hold your license, debit or credit card, and cash. It's great for the gym, beach! And it's a green product.!

Great green products made by a MN family. Excellent laundry soap for cloth diapers and there are a lot of other products like lip butters and perfume oils to choose from. They also have over 70 scents you can choose for your soap. Very impressed with their products.

I use the 3 step cleansing system and I just adore how it makes my skin feel! I chased around all the ladies on my volleyball team one weekend at a tourney and made them all try it because it feels so awesome. It lasts a long time, is natural and best of all inexpensive, around $10 a bottle. Love it!

A dripping faucet can waste 20 gallons of water a day. A leaking toilet can use 90,000 gallons of water in a month. Keeping your existing equipment well maintained is probably the easiest and cheapest way to start saving water.
