A awesome and powerful product. I've got it right now for about 4-5 years and it is still working fine. But Microsoft was not smart with there Windows Media Center sharing between a pc and a XBox 360. You would have to open firewalls before you could even try. With Mac connect 360 (a cheap piece of software) it really plug and play. Now we don't burn the movies on a disc but play them through the XBox 360 from nitrocrime - liked from perkins's entry

Good mid level receiver from Denon. Has 100 watts/channel by 7 channels of power, which really is the minimum you want to buy. Denon is currently the leader in quality consumer electronics. I used to recommend Onkyo receivers, but their quality and customer service has gone downhill in the last few years, so now I recommend Denon, which seems to be the only real quality brand left. from itblogger

Good solid receiver from HK. We have it in our home theater and it sounds great! from arvind

Bought this to improve the sound from our HDTV and add a HDMI switch at the same time. Perfect as now I have the TV, DVD and PS3 all connected and can switch between the via the supplied remote. It also produces faux 5.1 audio and its not too bad. Wife likes it because it doesn't take up much space and no wires running for rear speakers. from kikkoman
emilys - Sounds like a really neat set up... We have 5 separate boxes - Apple TV, an Xbox, a DVD player, our comcast HDVR and our receiver!
