I would have loved to home-school my own children but living in London i felt it wouldn't have been possible..thankfully they both did very well with ilea and my youngest of 12 yrs is in an "opted out" school which isn't tied to the national ...

This is one of the few, if not only, totally secular homeschooling publication! Debrah Markus, the editor of the magazine, also writes many of the articles. You may have heard of her "Bitter Homeschooler's Wish List" which has been circulated throughout the net, this was in her first issue of SHM!
