Hilarious and inspired. I have loved Gary Larson since I was a callow youth. He also hooked me on the words 'Dang!' and 'Fud'. from johnnobi

Oh, man, this is funny. And great social commentary. I love the sequence where Shaun just continues to wander on through his life completely oblivious to the zombie outbreak once it's begun. from vizstorm

Sin city the comic book is one of the finest art and story comics around, the art is very stylistic and the dialogue that Frank Miller writes may be a little a drift but it works in his comic book world! from waynet

Max Brooks has put together a fantastic "resource" for all the potential zombie hunters out there. The man has watched his zombie flicks, seen what works and what hasn't worked, and compiled it all into a wonderful volume ... more ... from poobah

Ctrl Alt Del (CAD) is a gaming-related webcomic and animated series written by Tim Buckley. The name of the comic refers to the Windows command Control-Alt-Delete. It is currently updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The comic's focus has gradually shifted away from single strip gags towards longer story arcs and greater continuity. Buckley makes a living from Ctrl Alt Del, placing him in a small group of web comic artists devoted to their comics full-time. from pia - liked from blackicejane's entry

Oh gosh, I love this website. Although I have to admit that it shows some items that I can feel the arteries clogging just from looking at them. It's like watching a train wreck of food. You can't turn away. from gypsylibrarian

This book is not so much a sci-fi or horror book, but rather a collection of how various people and types of people might react to a horrific event. It's a great study of psychology and the human condition. The things that will horrify you are not the zombies... it's what people will do to other people to avoid the zombies. Very well written. from poobah

I've read and listened to the book, and was very sad to know that this was Adams' last book, since the ending was a little final. Unfortunately, he died before he could write the sixth book, although I have heard that someone is trying to put together his notes and will write the sixth book on his behalf. from edeckers
leannem - @edeckers Yes the book which is unfinished is called the "Salmon of Doubt". It has a great collection of his essays as well
