I have featured Orange Rhino Kids on my blog before because their cute, organic clothes for little ones are not only stylish, but good for the earth! I especially love their charming owl hoodie and long-sleeved t-shirt. Plus, it's run by a husband-wife team just trying to make the world a little better for their kids. We can all support that! from beautyblogger

because my sons have been playing this card game for MANY years and taught my 8 yr old daughter. Instead of sitting in front of a TV, they create strategies with this card game and draw pictures of the characters. When I first learned about Pokemon 9 yrs ago I was an instant hater. Now I realize the strategy involved and it's sooo much better than mindless video games. from thedailyblonde
thedailyblonde - my 3 youngest love it and have been playing for a long time. They devise strategies, make up stories, etc etc. We go to a league once a month and they trade, talk, enjoy lunch together. Love it in the middle of the winter when they can't go outside.
gypsylibrarian - I got hooked because my daughter plays the game. I mostly collect the cards. I like some of the episodes too.

This book scared me when I was a kid, but it scared me in the best possible way. I think it is OK to be scared sometimes so kids can figure out how to deal with that fear. This book helps teach coping skills as well as providing a fantasy adventure. from beanfair - liked from katrina's entry

As a kid this was my favorite Dr. Seuss book. I only wish I'd had the opportunity to meet Theodore Dreyser in C'ville. Who do you like better, Thing 1 or Thing 2? from birdman - liked from katrina's entry

If you grew up in the 80's, you're bound to remember this classic "geek" toy. Lite-Brites were all the rage, but also poked fun at for those fanatics who would sit meticulously for hours creating elaborate, colorful designs! from care4pets

Dr. Seuss is the king of entertainment for children for decades. Everyone remembers this rhyme, artwork and stories. Horton Hears a Who is another favorite around here, especially after the children saw the movie of the same name. from mamasaid

A dream combination, surely? Definitely the best moments of the franchise. Playing Lego Indy or Batman just feels like you're playing this one in a different suit. Not a long game, but the fun's really about getting all those unlockables. from macro1970 - liked from cbellevie's entry
