magneticartmaster - Great movie, special effects, entertaining, cool story. At some points I felt I was back to where I started. Sometimes they look like a bunch of scrap metal put together that resembles a robot. I like the simpler looking transformers from the 80s. But Avatar was my favorite for 2009.
mr_stixx - Many people saw this movie as just a bunch of noise because there were more transformers and more action, but keep in mind, there was still a story. So there's nothing really to be confused about. I found it very entertaining

Pulp grips you and a brilliant acting by John Travolta and highlighted the acting talent of Samuel L Jackson. A slumdog (according to director Danny Boyle) was actually supposed to be a hybrid of the word "slum" and "underdog" because Jamal was trying to overcome the challenges of being an underdog.
The word was then used in the movie by the other characters as a slur to show again how looked down on Jamal was, and therefore make his story much more moving. To me, I think Pixar took a huge risk with this movie, and it may not have the mass appeal that other Pixar movies have had, but I love that they did it. I've seen all Back To The Future films. I have always been fascinated by any movies related to "time travel" but this film has got to be my fave. This classic franchise starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher George got even better in the two sequels it made.
