george1024 - Nobody ever switches from Leopard to Vista now do they? ;-)
applehockey - Great OS
dragossh - Hey, it's better than Windows!
molly - I wish I could use this all the time! I eagerly look forward to the days I get to use such a phenomenal system!
Coming back to Mac OS X after years adrift in Solaris and Windows was like revisiting a favorite old neighborhood after years away. Things had changed, yes. Some for the better, a few for the worse, but I knew where most everything was, and under it all had grown an entire new infrastructure, based on powerful *nix.
from dland justinlowery - Leopard was one of the best operating systems ever made, and Snow Leopard further refines an already phenomenal product.
skullart99 - i cant wait to try this out
Certainly the best version, at least until 10.5.6 came out, or until Snow Leopard is released
from ksonney marcthehitmaker - I'm running 10.5.6, and can't wait for Snow Leopard.
jcostaman - Use it every day!
lanevids - I can't wait for Snow Leopard, hopefully soon :::fingers crossed::::
Sucks to have to use windows sometimes, but this is the least painful way to do it.

The new time capsule comes with the abilities of the airport extreme which allows you to give out guest networks and dual band wifi. Very sexy
from gefunk jeepermtj - Hope is this my birhtday present
This is the sexiest keyboard i've ever used and I would never go back to using any other keyboard because it's so nice to type on!
from taw001 muddie08 - it is the best thing to type on...im using it right now...
mariettamama - agreed.
jamie27 - I like how they are so thin
brandonrawks - Typing on it right now!
Adium is an excellent cross-service IM client for the Mac. It enables you to connect to just about every IM service you might want to and save you the hassle of running multiple applications just to keep up with a few friends. All I need now is Skype integration and this will become one of the most useful IM applications I use.

Cyberduck is a graphical open source FTP and SFTP client for Mac OS X licensed under the GPL. It supports FTP/TLS (FTP secured over SSL/TLS), using AUTH TLS as well as uploading and downloading by drag and drop and is able to synchronize files and directories. In addition, it is also able to open some files in external text editors. Cyberduck includes a bookmark manager and supports the Mac OS X Keychain and Bonjour networking.

It's still an essential piece of software for most Mac users - although Office 2008 doesn't play nicely with Mac OS X Spaces, and probably never will until the next version of Office is released.

iWork is a visually appealing and flexible productivity suite for the Mac. It is not very expensive and will do what most people need to do with their word processor, spreadsheet application and presentation software. I only keep OpenOffice on my Mac for the odd time iWork doesn't do what I need it to do.

I do almost all my text work with textmate. Only if it's originally a .doc file do I use anything else, really.
from amokk honestpuck - I love the programmability of TextMate - and the command line tool.
I was just looking at this the other day with my Eee 1000HE in mind.
from cbellevie - liked from bradhubartt's entry
This is a reminder for me to go back and try this again. First attempt I created the most bizarre landscape that freaked me right out and haven't been back since :)

my choice program when editing all my podcasts. Makes moving tracks around, adding tracks and jingles very easy. Also allows you to export to 64kbs mp3s
