Each night brought a different array of wonderful performances, designed to amuse, titillate, and astound. From the talented Vaudevillian master of ceremonies, to the magicians, trapeze artists, freaks, and even the jester like stagehand every one brought a strange and unusual flair to the eventing. All that, and that and I haven't even mentioned the dancing! from buckofive Revels was founded in 1971 by musician, educator and author John Langstaff to celebrate the seasons in performance through the power of traditional song, dance, storytelling and ritual from cultures around the world. Many Boston area homeschoolers perform in Revels each year. from evelynsaenz Fast, attractive, slightly gay, and the gas mileage isn't bad considering the performance.
