Family Guy is one of the best shows on television today. While the episodes may not have a concrete or in depth plot it is always funny. The random tangents that appear as random clips are always funny. Another thing is family guy isn't afraid to poke fun at things such as race and religion which have become way to protected in todays media.

"The people you work with are people you were just thrown together with. I mean, you don't know them, it wasn't your choice. And yet you spend more time with them than you do your friends or your family. But probably all you have in common is the fact that you walk around on the same bit of carpet for eight hours a day."

Alec Baldwin in this show has begun to approach Shatner-esque levels of comedy gold. While there are certainly other characters that make the show shine for me Jack is outright hysterical.

Fun to watch a show that covers my late twenties with my friends. Plus I love lines like:
Yes, well, I’m polymerized tree sap and you’re an inorganic adhesive, so whatever verbal projectile you launch in my direction is reflected off of me, returns to its original trajectory and adheres to you.

There are few things out of all my interests that I can say are my absolute favorites within their category. Favorite video game? Favorite movie? Favorite book? No idea, I have so many.
If you were to ask me what my favorite TV show is, it will always be Seinfeld. There are shows I rank closely to it, but Seinfeld will always be #1.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
from jdmoser luv2kyss - I love seinfeild! I uses to watch all the shows when it was out.

I watced a marathon of Scrubs yesterday on youtube and knew that this was the show I love. I love JD's internal dialogue. His fantasies and his relationships with the people around him. I love that this show can make you weep and shriek with laughter all in 20 minutes. I think it was a well written and well played show. Looking forward to the nest season.

Everyone can relate to 'Friends' in some way. We've all been there which makes the show so likable. Great cast and writing...always funny! Still enjoy the reruns on TBS...fav episodes have to be Joey getting his head stuck in the turkey, Chandler & Joey losing Ben on the bus, Ross finding out Rachel's pregnant (and the hilarious condom ordeal that ensues), and of course, the finale where Rachel gets off the plane (made me cry!)
from care4pets abhi2810 - great TV series. I played Chandler in the Play at my school.
perkins - Soon to be (or possibly already) a classic. The writing is great.

This show, now a cult-classic, was overlooked during its airtime due to Fox's terrible marketing. But a movie is now in the works, and the show's characters are absolutely hilarious. If you think you know about humor, you have to love this show. Michael Cera, Will Arnett, David Cross, Portia de Rossi, Jason Bateman (former Teen Wolf). Say what?

An American comedy-drama that chronicles the rise of Vincent Chase, a young A-list film star, and his childhood friends from Queens, New York City, as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Hollywood, California.
from czecheffekt sherm6ft6 - One of my Fav shows! just wish it was a hour long. the seasons go by so quick!
So funny! My wife laughs at me laughing at the show more than she laughs at the show itself. But if your sense of humor is subtle and low-key, you'll love these guys!
from vizstorm rachaelchesnutt - Hilarious!
This is a great family show. Laughs that will have you rolling on the floor. And who can forget that catchy theme song.. "In West Philidelphia born and raised..."

This is a book of science fiction which was created by Douglas Adams. The story in all the series follows the adventures of Arthur Dent, an Englishman who befriends an Alien. Based on this book, a TV series and movies are also made. Anybody with no aversion to science fiction can have a nice time going through the book. Its definitely a well written comedy book.

I avoided this show for a long time because for some reason I didn't like the commercials. Then I caught one of the 'Rose' episodes. In particular it was the episode that starts with her birthday, and ends up with her father showing up and being more of a wreck than she is. It's absolutely brilliant.

The Flintstones is a classic! Pure, comedic cartooning right from the start. You know you're a fan when you memorize the theme song! *hums* Flintstones, meet the Flintstones, they're a modern stone-age family...from the town of Bedrock, they're a page right out of history. *hums* WATCH WITH YOUR KIDS! You know you want to! :)
from care4pets crabbie - My fav is Barney
suneel1234 - great cartoon, i liked to watch it everyday at cartoon network.I like their houses and their vehicles.
Neurotic Jews will always remain lovable and worth at least a guffaw. Think of Woody Allen as an even more rabidly anxious and politically incorrect schmuck, and you have Larry David with his ridiculous ordeals that makes fun of himself as much as others in the show. Gotta love that recent Seinfeld pseudo-reunion too.
