    They call him the "Father of Grunge". Neil was very popular in the 1970s. My fave songs include "Four Strong Winds" and "Heart of Gold". He was also a former member of the act "Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young". from quick24

    SRV is, in my opinion, the greatest blues/rock guitarist in history. If not the greatest guitarist period. His music inspired me to pick up the guitar. And he had such a great personality like no other musician had. I sometimes wonder what music would be like today if he was still alive. from capdavis
