We enjoy the old lady who swallowed a fly book and get a kick from all the spin off books we've read with a simliar story line. It's fun to see her expanding girth with her increasing appetite.

Coloring pages are not only fun, they can also be used to spark interest in writing stories or reports. We cut out colored pictures of the pilgrims, wrote a story about what each one was thankful for on the back and added them to a lapbook for Thanksgiving.
