    I love nano. I began participating a couple years ago and put my own musical twist on it: I aimed to write 50k seconds of music. Although I've yet to reach 50k, I've come close to the halfway mark. It's made Novembers my most idea-pouring month of the year. Last year I did try writing and wrote a bunch of unfinished short stories. It went a helluva lot better than I imagined possible!
