MyLikes was started by Bindu Reddy and Arvind Sundararajan in January 2010. The MyLikes team is a small group of highly talented, passionate and effective individuals who are quietly changing the world of advertising, one publisher and one advertiser at a time. We are fiercely dedicated to our vision, and believe in the power of small & efficient teams over large bureaucratic organizations.
We have a unique and radical style of no-management that we have adopted to run this organization and all our team members are motivated self-starters who make things happen.
Before starting MyLikes, Bindu was at Google and oversaw product management for several products including Google Docs, Google Sites, Google Video and Blogger. When she first started at Google, Bindu was a product manager for AdWords, where she improved the AdWords bidding model by introducing Quality Based Bidding and Quality Score for keywords. She was also in-charge of Google’s shopping engine - Google Product Search and designed and launched Google Base.
Before Google, Bindu founded AiYo - a shopping recommendations service. Earlier in her career, Bindu was the Director of Product Management at eLance and a Computational Biologist at Exelixis. Bindu has a MS from Dartmouth College and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai.
Before starting MyLikes, Arvind was a Senior Staff Engineer at Google. Over the span of more than four years there, Arvind worked on Gmail (as technical lead for the backend team), led structured search efforts for Google Base, and Ad Sense (where he led the team responsible for the serving software and infrastructure). Arvind won two Google founders awards for his work on Gmail and AdSense.
Previously, Arvind was an engineering manager at BEA, first employee at Alpiri (a small semantic web startup) and an early engineer at Marimba, which was acquired by BMC software. Arvind has a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai.
